Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Styl Fashion, Inc. (“Styl Fashion”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) handles information in connection with the Shared Cart iMessage application (the “App”).

1. Information We Process

The App is server-backed. We process the information needed to provide cart persistence, product resolution, sharing, security, and customer support.

• Anonymous installation credential: a generated credential stored on your device and used to authenticate your installation to our service.
• Cart information: cart names, cart contents, product links, quantities, removed items, and items marked ordered or not ordered.
• Product information: product URLs you provide and related titles, descriptions, images, prices, currencies, and merchant information retrieved from those product pages or product providers.
• Sharing information: requests to create, redeem, authorize, or revoke secure cart-sharing links.
• Technical and security logs: ordinary request metadata, such as timestamps, request paths, response status, IP-derived security information, and diagnostics needed to operate and protect the service.
• Support communications: information you choose to send when contacting us.

We do not require a name, email address, phone number, or account password to create a cart in the App.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information described above to:

• create, store, update, and restore carts;
• resolve product links and display product information;
• send and open shared carts in Messages;
• enforce cart permissions, including owner, editor, and read-only shared access;
• maintain the security, integrity, availability, and reliability of the service;
• investigate misuse, fraud, or abuse;
• respond to support and privacy requests; and
• comply with legal obligations.

3. No Advertising, Sale, or Cross-App Tracking

The App does not display third-party advertisements. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use App information to track you across apps or websites owned by other companies for targeted advertising.

4. Third-Party Links and Service Providers

The App can contain links to merchant and product websites. Those websites have their own privacy policies, and their practices are not governed by this policy.

We use service providers to host, operate, secure, and provide parts of the service, including cloud hosting and product-information providers. Service providers may process information only as needed to provide their services to us and are expected to protect it appropriately.

5. Messages and Shared Carts

Shared Cart works inside Apple Messages. A shared-cart message can contain an opaque cart access link. Anyone who receives the link may be able to open the shared cart, subject to the permissions associated with that link. Do not send a cart to someone unless you intend for that person to see its contents.

Apple may process your use of the Messages app under Apple’s own privacy practices.

6. Data Retention

We retain cart information while it is needed to provide the service, maintain security, satisfy support or legal obligations, or resolve disputes. Owner carts can be deleted in the App. You may also request deletion of information associated with your installation by contacting us. We may retain limited security, legal, backup, or audit records where permitted or required by law.

7. Your Choices and Requests

You can delete an owner cart from the App. You may contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of information associated with your installation. We may ask for reasonable information to verify that the request relates to your installation and to prevent unauthorized deletion or disclosure.

8. Children

The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us and we will take appropriate action.

9. Security

We use HTTPS, server-side authorization checks, device-stored installation credentials, and opaque sharing links to protect the App. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. International Use

Information may be processed in the United States or other locations where we or our service providers operate. By using the App, you understand that information may be processed in jurisdictions with data protection laws that differ from your jurisdiction.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is posted at https://sharedcart.paretopurchasing.com/privacy-policy, and the effective date identifies the latest revision.
